I have neglected this place for a while, partly because my new phone was not uploading photographs properly. Still not sure why that happens, but encouraged by some very kind comments from visitors here are several new pictures. There are others.
In other news I have arranged to exhibit three pictures in the British Association of Iconographers exhibition in Milton Keynes in October. Christ the Cornerstone Church, from 19th to 22nd October, 10am to 5pm.
If this goes well I will think about an exhibition just of my pictures, perhaps for the following year.
John Howard has been hanging around for about a year, and is finally finished because I ran out of canvases; he was the last one I had in this size. He can now join Elizabeth Fry.
Edith Cavell; a British nurse shot as a spy in the Great War after helping to rescue hundreds of Allied soldiers.
Hedd Wyn 1 & 2; Ellis Humphrey Evans. 1 (white watch chain) has gone to a new home; 2 (yellow watch chain) is with me.
David Jones; my first painting of PTSD/shellshock.
A different style now; 2 pictures of King Edward the Confessor, based on manuscript images.
Abelard and Heloise
Martin Luther King Jnr 3. The first is in Miami, the second is in Cambridge. I have the third.
Some new Divine Comedy pictures.
Sophie Scholl, executed in WWII.
St Michael, after Rublev
